well i had an oh so enjoyable day "off". oh the joy.. my roommate... i guess i don't really consider him my friend much anymore.. funky.. but oh well c'est la vie (damn you ash!) has been in california with one of his friends from work for the past few days... apparently his friend decided to not come back before cory(the roommate) was scheduled to work.. i get a call from california and oh joy guess who gets to go into work and cover? oh the joy. and it turns out to be a very long day at work... apparently we had a visit from the health inspector.. and worst.. a cranky health inspector.. which turned the owner into a cranky owner... the day guy scrubbed and rewashed every plate in the building.. among other things. the owner stayed all day.. and had this oh so enjoyable stare going.. watching his wee lil mice waiting to swoop down and be a royal pain in the ass. we were also slow as hell. slow as hell+owner staring down=magnifying glass+hey look a speck lets clean it. during some of the more mindless.. this doesn't really need to be done but hey i only did it three times this shift, why not do it again.. moments my thoughts did some wandering.. and realizing... and then boggling over realizations.... because they just shouldn't be.
