Feb. 7th, 2005 11:59 pmSo, my dad bought a replacement camera. He purchased a Olympus Stylus 410 of ebay for 250 including shipping and handling brand new. So I owe him 250. Shame he didn't let me go pick him out a new one. I probably could have gotten a better camera for less. Oh well, c'est la vie. I still want to get myself a Canon D20. One day, one day.. I'll definitely end up taking a photography class or four if I spend the cash on that baby. :p I need more money. I need to pay off my car. I need my d20 :P I need a mac mini or maybe a ibook. I need some high quality professional quality earplugs for my ipod. Okay, so I dont' need any of that... Really all i need is to get back into school.
I feel different: better off, happier, more content. I even feel a little bit of a drive to go out and do something. I feel more confident and more talkative. I don't know... Noone is seeming to take notice, but I think visiting Mississippi did me a lot of good.
I had a really cool table at work today. I only had two because today I was technically a busser, but the second one was really cool. A bit psychotic actually, my jokes were, well, lame, but they cracked up. Like immensely, they cracked up. They were sitting in the far back. You could hear him way up front. I brought them their salads, "So who has ranch?". They all raised their hand and found that amusing, just mildly. Well then they wanted dessert and one asked, "Do you have boston cream pie?". "Uh if we do, we call it something else." So not even funny, but they cracked up hysterically. I was actually serious even. :P There were 5 of them and their check came up to 45 bucks, and they left me 15. Maybe they'll be back tomorrow. Hopefully, they'll be on whatever drugs they were on when they came in tonight.
