So... Amber's coming into town.. And my brother is turning 21... So McMullan's night with Darby O'Gill should be awesome as hell! .... ... Darby isn't playing this upcoming wednesday :( Instead we get.. Acoustic Soul.. Which don't get me wrong. I like acoustic soul. They're pretty damn talented, and they never take breaks(or rather they take them in turns). But.... They just aren't as much fun as Darby. Darby has you singing along. Darby as you screaming curse words at the band. Darby does all drinking songs. Darby has great toasts. Acoustic Soul is a jukebox. Literally. Everybody in the band sings. They have a song "menu". You pick a song, they'll play it. Some of them can sing better than others, but... they just ugh. This really blows :(
